Dosage and Administration
(Quantity of Butox needed for 1000 L of water.)
Ticks-flies: 0.5 L (25 ppm)
Lice-keds: 0.25 L (12.5 ppm)
Mange: Curative treatment 1L (50 ppm)
Frequency of treatment:
The first 2 treatments will be 15 days spaced then the interval will depend on infestation.
One treatment generally ensures 6 to 8 weeks protection
Only one treatment is needed usually.
Curative 2 treatments ten days spaced.
Some organophosphorous insecticides can reduce metabolism rate and thus enhance deltamethrin toxicity. Therefore it is not advisable to proceed to such associations (consult the supplier).
Cattle: zero milk & meat
Sheep: 4 days in meat and not use milk from treated animals for human consumption
Use during pregnancy and lactation: No restrictions apply for use during pregnancy and lactation.
Notes: Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the product to animals: Do not eat, drink or smoke while using product. Wash hands and exposed skin before meals and after work.
