Netobimin 5%

Indications for use

1. Sheep
   1. Treatment of Gastro-intestinal roundworms (adult, immature and egg stages)
      1. Haemonchus spp., Ostertagia spp., Trichostrongylus spp., Cooperia spp., Nematodirus spp., and Oesophagostomum spp
      2. Gastro-intestinal round worms (inhibited larvae) Ostertagia spp., Haemonchus spp., and Nematodirus spp
   2. Lung worms (adult) : Dictyocaulus spp.
   3. Liverfluke (adult): Fasciola hepatica and Dicrocoelium dendriticum
   4. Tapeworm : Moniezia spp
2. Cattle
   1. Treatment of Gastro-intestinal roundworms (adult, immature and egg stages)
      1. Haemonchus spp., Ostertagia spp., Trichostrongylus spp., Cooperia spp., Nematodirus spp., and Oesophagostomum spp., Trichuria spp., and Bunostomum spp.
      2. Gastro-intestinal round worms (inhibited larvae) Ostertagia spp., Cooperia spp and Nematodirus spp
   2. Lung worms (adult & immature) : Dictyocaulus viviparous
   3. Liverfluke (adult): Fasciola hepatica
   4. Tapeworm : Moniezia spp

Dosage

1. Gastrointestinal and Pulmonary Nematodes (adult, larvae and eggs)
   7.5mg/kg → 15ml/100kg – 5%
2. Cestodes
   10mg/kg → 20ml/100kg – 5%
3. Hypobiotic Larvae and Liver Fluke, Dicrocoelium and BZM-resistant
   Nematodes :
   20mg/kg → 40ml/100kg – 5%

Withdrawal time

1. Meat: 10 days in cattle / 5 days in sheep.
2. Milk: 48 hours cows / 72 hours sheep.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

1. Do not administer to sheep during the first 5 weeks of pregnancy
2. Do not administer to cattle during the first 7 weeks of pregnancy

Special precautions for use

1. Assess bodyweight as accurately as possible before calculating the dosage.
2. Intensive use or misuse of anthelmintics can give rise to resistance.
3. To reduce this risk the dosing programme should be discussed with your veterinary surgeon.
4. Hapadex may be administered with any standard dosing gun.
5. Netobimin belongs to the benzimidazole and probenzimidazole (1-BZ) class of anthelmintics.
